My Beloved Stallion Go Robin Bar passed Spring of 2011 at the age of 27. APHA 3 time World Champion Stallion, Go Bar was one of my best teachers. A consummate athlete and show champion, Go Bar won the Paint World show All Around World Champion. . . saddles, a horse trailer. . . the whole deal!
There was nothing he would not do. . . from jumping to reining to pleasure to cow classes to roping. . . he excelled at it ALL ! Go Bar was truly talented and wonderful to ride or drive!
We bred Go bar to our mares here at Lil Bit North Ranch (Arizona and Colorado) and produced many tremendous off spring all over the country. Some went on to the show ring to claim their own championships, some to the race track, rodeo, Dressage champions. . . and loads of wonderfully sound and emotionally brilliant fillies and colts.
He was always a Stallion with impeccable manners! He was social and never made false or rude move with anyone. In his later and retired years, he lived with two young alpacas in his paddock who he protected, shared meals with and loved. He was a proud Stallion all his life and took care as mentor to the herd in every way. He taught me a lot and I will always feel honored to have partnered with him in life.
