Tory was born in a small pasture on our place in Tempe, Arizona twenty three years ago. I had just had my own daughter, Molly, and had shared a pregnancy journey with her dam . . . my mare Riddle. A small bay filly, there was no darkness of entry for her . . . she was born at 4:00 in the afternoon and has been a bright one ever since!
Her registered name is A Victory Seeker and she began her career as my Western Pleasure Champion. In all the hundreds of horses I have ridden in my career, Tory is by far the smoothest gaited horse I have ever been aboard. Almost like floating over the ground, she has been exceptional in our riding partnership.
Today, at 23 years old, and after having four foals of her own Tory is one of our top Healing Team horses. Her claire-sentience is nothing short of brilliant as she carefully listens to the client and then begins to co faclitate as my partner when working.
Our students have watched in amazement many times when Tory listens to the client's tale and then "pant-o-mimes" her healing to them.
She is feminine, graceful, a madonna and wise beyond words while also making sure her job as resident DIVA is upheld!
