Deep in the heart of the Front Range, north of Boulder Colorado, lies Melisa’s professional equine facility and spiritual healing center. With a backdrop of the spectacular Rocky Mountains, Lil Bit North Ranch, whose name was derived from a nickname of “Lil Bit” given to Melisa as a young girl, has many surprises for those who visit.


The entire facility was specifically designed to host the unique synergy of equine and human experiences that Melisa and her team create. The state of the art barn sports an indoor arena with a special “half height” wall to allow for optimal visual and physical interaction with the horses.


A large classroom is attached with windows to the indoor arena for easy viewing. The arena itself is equipped with a professional sound system overhead and wireless headset mics are used to instruct, making sure not a word is missed. Whether you are working in the classroom, the stall area, bath rack, grooming bays or in the arena you remain a part of all that is happening in the learning facility.


The huge outdoor sand arena has a splendorous backdrop of the Rockies and a stunning view of the verdant North Boulder Valley. The horses each have paddocks for turnout fenced in white and overlooking the ranch and pond.


The synergy of horses and the human spirit creates personal transformation on many levels.
